Meet Stephanie Avery
Stephanie Avery has always enjoyed math. There is a comfort in having things always be logical and make sense in this crazy world. You can always count on math to have the same answer every time. That’s why she loves accounting and finance and has always been involved in it from an early time in her career path. She started in the world of manufacturing, then went to mortgages, finance, home construction, and finally to the oil and gas industry. With experience in all these industries, she can work with a myriad of clients in order to help them improve the methods they use to view and understand their finances. From helping companies that started by working out of a file cabinet and boxes and bringing them into the 21 st century, to companies that had partners embezzle money from the company and help them restructure and grow the company, she has been able to help clients improve their understanding of their own financials and what they mean to their company.
Stephanie has always loved learning and encourages learning in herself and those around her every day. After working in the accounting world for many years, she went back to school and got an accounting degree. It was amazing the things she thought she knew but learned how to refine them and improve her skills. She is excited to be able to help clients structure their books in a way that can help them meet their goals.
Stephanie grew up in Idaho and lived there for many years. With the switch to the oil and gas industry she moved to Montana, North Dakota, and finally Texas where she has lived for the last four years and loves it. She has a large family that she loves and keeps her busy. She also loves gardening, sewing, quilting, volunteering in her church, but above all learning new things every day.
